Michele Evans was born in Chicago, Il. on June 21 1968.
She started piano lessons at the ripe age of six, showing a talent for and interest in composition by age 14, when she decided to become a film composer.
Michele earned a Bachelors of Music from Michigan State University and continued her schooling at Berklee College of Music, majoring in film scoring.
In 1997 she moved to Los Angeles, pursuing studies in the film scoring program of Universiy of California, where she won the prestegious BMI-Jerry Goldsmith Scholarship.
In 1999, she married Evan Evans, son of Jazz piano Legend Bill Evans, and currently reside in Northern California.
